If you want to experience a real West Hollywood breakfast, sipping a mimosa between two business men and two power-moms wearing yoga pants and Hermes bags, there is no better place than Cecconi’s. The patio is the place to be, every weekday morning except Tuesdays – when the space is overrun with Brits for their weekly breakfast mayhem. The affordable brunch menu has kale frittata, full English breakfast, paleo granola and ricotta pancakes. Later during the day, we spotted some truffle pizza, orechiette with cime di rapa, veal saltimbocca, as well as Ellen DeGeneres and J.Lo. Pro tip: The Butterfly Room (which takes its name from Damien Hirst’s painting on the main wall) can be privatized for a pompous birthday, but we prefer the charm of a sunny breakfast on Cecconi’s patio.
