In several spots around LA, a few chicos are doing very good tacos at Chicas TAcos: organic, local, GMO-free, and sustainable. You order them in the cutest 60s-inspired hut: peppered steak, beer-battered fish, cauliflower, stewed pork… Then devour them on outdoor picnic tables set on (fake) grass in front of a shiny airstream. And if you’re REALLY hungry, Chicas Tacos does its “Mama Style”: a combo of three tacos with lots of sauce and even more cheese — quite like Mexican lasagna.
