KazuNori

Sometimes, spin-offs happen to be better than the original version — that’s almost never the case, but KazuNori is an excellent example. Not that Sugarfish is bad, but there are sushi restaurants all over Los Angeles that deserve your attention (and your money) more than this one. KazuNori, however, is a different story. Head there for a quick meal, comprised only of temaki (uncut hand rolls), and one option of à la carte sashimi. Chef Kazunori Nozawa imagined the menu as follows: cucumber, salmon, bay scallop, toro, yellowtail, lobster, and blue crab. And here’s a pro tip: cut rolls (maki sushi) are available for take-out.
