If you allow yourself to be discouraged by the ridiculous name, or by its strip-mall location (between a 7-Eleven, a Subway, and a Pizza Hut) you risk skipping one of the best Thai hole-in-the-walls: Luv2Eat. It is not uncommon to run into Buddhist monks ordering Issan or Phuket dishes among the daily specials. Do like your orange-dressed new friends and come with a group to share the following dishes: Kanomjean crab curry (definitely spicy but definitely worth it), pad ka prao (pork sautéed with holy basil, peppers and green beans), spicy shrimp-paste fried rice combo and a classic Khao soi. Ask the monks, it is divine.
