At Miro, there’s one dish that will leave you flabbergasted: the squid ink corzetti, hand-made and round-shaped pasta, exquisitely veined to retain all the saffron and lobster sauce. This review could end right here because the corzetti are everything you should know about. Yes, the decor is beautiful, the whiskey bar in the basement has a rare collection of scotch, bourbon and single malts. Yes, there’s a flawless wine list with 123 bottles of natural wine out of 125 (an even stricter process that biodynamic wines). Yes, the charcuterie platters are full of exquisite saucisson sec, pâté and chicken liver mousse alongside Brillat-Savarin, Mimolette or Monte Enebro (all at $4 each). Yes, the roasted cauliflower with ras-el-hanout and labneh along with the lamb kofta are definitely decadent. But it would be a shame to dine at Miro and skip the corzetti. Don’t say we haven’t warned you!
