If you can’t afford Daniel Humm’s famed $98 roast chicken at the NoMad Downtown, his truck drives around LA to feed foodies and novices alike. First Act: the Humm dog, with bacon-wrapped sausage, a brioche bun, truffle mayonnaise and celery root relish. Second Act: the NoMad chicken burger with foie gras, frisée and pickled shallots. Third Act: milk and honey soft serve, in a nod to the New York hotel’s mythical dessert. These high-end meals on wheels will keep entertaining us until the big opening!
