Pine & Crane

Pine & Crane is a polarizing restaurant: adored by some, misunderstood by others — it leaves no hipster indifferent. Always packed during rush hour, this zen canteen sticks to the classics: mapo tofu, wanton soup, dan dan noodles… All the vegetables come from the chef’s parents’ farm, although the Silverlake Farmers Market is ten steps away from the restaurant. Beware, despite the quality of the vegetables at Pine & Crane, this restaurant is not vegan-friendly at all.
