Except for few food trucks, the West Side doesn’t have any decent tacos — and Loqui came to shake things up. Here the tacos are called “primos”, and they are the size of your hand. The flour tortillas are made on the spot, then covered with mesquite-grilled chicken or pork, and a big spoonful of guacamole. Try the molcajete, a large bowl with all the elements to build-your-own tacos. It’s nothing to write home about if you live in Echo Park, but Loqui is excellent news for everyone working close to Platform.
