It’s an itsy bitsy petit restaurant on an East Hollywood strip mall called Northern Thai Food Club. Family-run in the most simple decor (bright-painted walls, plastic-covered tables, restrooms hidden away behind the kitchen…), the food also comes with the utmost simplicity, including DIY khao soi toppings. Highlights are indeed the chicken khao soi, jackfruit salad (which tastes so meaty!), and spicy pork sausage. At Northern Thai Food Club, come without expectations and leave with a full stomach.
