Cafe Gratitude

Cafe gratitude is the kind of place where you meet a chia pudding named “I am free”, tacos dubbed “I am transformed” or a pad thai which brags: “I am terrific”. You’ll have to get used to having a waiter with radiant skin and a perfect posture while he asks “What are you grateful for?” and encourages you to order your meal with positive affirmations: are you Happy, Fabulous, or both at the same time? Joking aside, the best bowl at Cafe Gratitude is called “Humble”: red lentil dal, a handful of spinach, yams roasted in coconut milk and some mint chutney… This vegan eden boasts more than 50,000 Facebook fans and a daily dose of VIPS on their Larchmont patio. And we would give anything to hear Jake Gyllenhaal claim “I am Magical”.
