Kismet Rotisserie

Chefs Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson are back with a third iteration of Kismet, only this time it’s focused on rotisserie. Drawing from both Kismet for its Mediterranean flavor profile and from Kismet Falafel for its fast-casual, counter-service experience, Kismet Rotisserie spreads its wings on Hollywood Blvd, in lieu of an old taco shop. Expect juicy rotisserie chicken, served on a plate with loads of optional sides: creamy hummus, peanut muhammara, smashed cucumbers, and potatoes cooked in schmaltz. Or opt for a fluffy pita sandwich with jammy eggs and caramelized onions or a veggie one stuffed with tahini-roasted vegetables. Each chicken is rubbed with turmeric and slow-roasted in a French rotisserie—then served by the quarter, half or whole with chili oil and garlic sauce. Round up your meal with tahini chocolate chip cookies or that incredible halva pudding, unless you have room for one more kid-sized pita sandwich from the adorable ‘kidsmet’ menu. After all, as stated by their sunny yellow sign above the restaurant, it’s all ‘good + good for you’.
