Tsujita

It’s not often that it rains in Los Angeles but when it does just about everyone loses their minds. Just try taking a drive on the 405 and you’ll witness true pandemonium. Rather than braving the forces of nature and dodging errant lane merges, we will always opt to hunker down with at the legendary Tsujita. Regardless of which location you choose, the move at Tsujita is the char siu tsukemen. Their tonkotsu-gyokai broth, cooked for over 60 hours, develops an incredibly rich flavor and consistency that perfectly coats the custom noodles developed for the restaurant by Sun Noodle. Often time ramen shops take their foot off the pedal when it comes to the toppings, but at Tsujita everything from the the chashu pork to the soft boiled egg is treated with immense care. It goes without saying that a mound of noodles accompanied with a deep pork and bonito broth isn’t every day food, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that given how often Tsujita shows up on our credit card billing statements.
