The 16-item menu is simple, yet sufficient: melt-in-your-mouth brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, smoked chicken… The spare ribs are some of the best in town, with a dry rub that gives all the meat and deep, dense, smokey flavor. You’ll also find a variety of sides at this order-at-the-counter spot: mac’n’cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and all the classic fixings. The portions are generous, and the prices, a bargain. At Slab BBQ, they don’t give you bull, but they will give you a red velvet cake if you had to wait!
